Ghost boot disk

I had problem when have Norton Ghost files (GHS and GHO) without bootable CD/DVD and spend lot of time to make it bootable.

What I have done?

1/ Open http://www.ghostbootdisk.com and download ISO file which you need.

In my case, I had copied GHS and GHO files from DVD and this files could not start because DVD is not bootable. And I downloaded "Ghost Boot CD ISO file (manual session)". Or download from here.

2/ Download and Open software Rufus - https://rufus.akeo.ie . There is also portable version.

3/ Then in the RUFUS choose ISO downloaded in item 2.

4/ Because ghostbootdisk.com could not give you ghost.exe, I used which I had from my GHS,GHO DVD disk.

5/ When process will finish, just copy your GHS and GHO files to your USB.

6/ After that, start your computer with your USB inserted and boot from it.

7/ When you see MS-DOS started, write down ghost and Enter.

8/ Your will see Norton Ghost software and choose Load, then Disk, then From Image.

9/ Choose your GHS file ant by program instructions start to Ghost your files.

Tamiya Quick Drive remote uncovering

How to open remote control plastics and check electronics.
I had a problem that sometimes connection between remote and a car was lost for a short time. Problem was that a white cable which comes from antenna/aerial was unsoldered.

This is how I open the remote:

1. Unstick QD stick and unscrew middle screw
2. This is how it looks without rotation wheel

3. Unscrew 6 screws
4. Unscrew antenna/aerial
5. This view you will see after remove of back plastic cover
6. Just simply remove accelarator handle by moving it out of axis.

7. To remove the board, you have to unscrew two bright screws on corners of green accelarator electornic board.
8. Now you able to remove the board
9. other side of board

That's all. Now you have to move all parts backwards. Dont forget to put battery doors before screw bottom screws.
