DAP unit converter for radiology technologist

There are lot of tools to convert units (uGy, nGy, m2, cm2) to your needs, but they are dedicated mostly for all possible units.

There I want to save for me and for you most used units for radiology technologists.

1 mGy.cm2 = 0,0001 mGy.m2

1 mGy.m2 = 10.000 mGy.cm2

Simple example with respect to unit conversions:
When converting from Gy.cm2 to µGy.m2 the following reasoning can be followed: 1 Gy = 1,000,000 (1 million) µGy; 1 cm2 = 0.0001 m2; this means that 1 Gy.cm2 = 1,000,000*0.0001 µGy.m2 = 100 µGy.m2.

1 gray (Gy) = 100 rads 10 mGy = 1 rad 1 mGy = 100 mrad

Other very good links:

https://veltcamp.blogspot.com/2019/08/effective-dose-calculator-radiography.html
http://www.sprawls.org/resources/RADQU/

Other info:
For example, a 5 cm × 5 cm X-ray field with an entrance dose of 1 mGy will yield a 25 mGy·cm2 DAP value. When the field is increased to 10 cm × 10 cm with the same entrance dose, the DAP increases to 100 mGy·cm2, which is four times the previous value.

Windows XP radom PC freezing

Is your Windows XP freezing frequently?

Doesn't find a way to solve the problem?

I have this issue when display was slept and not possible to wake up. PC seems workig, LED is shining. Found problem in video board where cooler was not working.

Video board cooler was not working
What is going on then? The video board is going to be overheated. Seems Windows stops to use videoboard and that's why you see can't see desktop.

Check that before reinstalling Windows. Also remove and instert RAM memory plates.

When coller was changed, I haven't this problem again.

Windows 7 stuck on Welcome or Blank screen

If Windows 7 stucks on Welcome or Blank/Black screen with mouse in the middle, information below could help you.

You can check original Pavel Vladov page (http://www.pvladov.com/2012/08/windows-7-stuck-on-welcome-screen.html) or simply do as described below.

Why I'm copying that? Just to find problem solving solution quickly when it appears again.

So in order to solve the problem, you should find the problematic software first. Restart your computer and keep pressing F8 until you get to the Windows 7 Advance Boot Options screen. Then select one of the "Safe Mode" options and press Enter. On the log in screen enter your password and Windows will start in safe mode (i.e. it starts with only the most important drivers and services loaded). Here's how I found the problem and fixed it, the procedure should fix your problem, too:
  1. Click the Start menu, enter "msconfig" and hit Enter
  2. On the General tab click Selective Startup
  3. Clear the Load Startup items check box
  4. Click the Services tab, click Hide All Microsoft Services to select it and then click the Disable All button
  5. Click OK and restart your computer
Start you computer normally and login. If it logins sucessfully, then you can run msconfig, turn on the services one by one and click on OK and restart after turning on each service to find the one that causes the issue. When you find it, go back to Safe Mode to turn it off and reinstall the problematic third party software. If when you reinstall the software the problem occurs again then uninstall this software for good and try using one of its alternatives.
When you have removed or reinstalled the problematic software and the issue is solved you can restore you computer to start as usual by doing the following:
  1. Click the Start menu, enter "msconfig" and hit Enter
  2. On the General tab click Normal Startup
  3. Click OK and restart your computer
